So I've still not figured out what I will be doing as a career.
Ever since I was a child I wanted to be a doctor, however, as I got older I got more specific. No longer did I just want to be a doctor I wanted to specialize I was going to be a Neonatologist. But after further review I decided that 10 years of school after high school was not appealing and not realistic. I was in Jr. High at this time and I started to become interested in law, but I didn't want to give up medicine. About this time the hit series CSI came out. When I saw it I knew that's what I wanted to do. I wanted to investigate crime scenses. When to college with this decision, but within the first semester I decided that I didn't want to do this, because I didn't like all the biology classes that I had to take. I had taken a psychology class to take care of a gen. ed. requirement. This was very interesting to me.
I'm the kind of person that has to have some kind of plan for my future. So when I found that I wasn't gonna cut it as a Biology major I feel back onto Psychology. That wouldn't be so bad. After exploring my options I found that I could still do something very similar to what I had gone to college for. Behavoiral Forensics, that's going to work. But the thing that I really wanted to do with it was so much more specific. I want to work for the FBI, I want to do something that only 3 people in the United States do. What am I crazy, I'm never gonna get that job, there is no way. I was informed that I should have another plan, a back up plan. What should I do.
Well I like kids, and being a child psychologist wouldn't be so bad. My problem now is that to be a child psychologist the schooling is different than a behavioral forensist, the first four years are the same, but most child psychologists have a doctorate, where as a forensics degree ends after the master's program. I don't think that I actually want to go to school that long. Hmmmm.......
Well for now I will work on attaining the Behavioral Forensics degree so that I can do what I want to, and if it doesn't work, well I guess I can always go back to school for a while and do something else.

First Random Post
So I'm here at 3:08am, not sleeping but instead typing this blog, filling it with the thoughts that are in my head.
The thought that just does not seem to be going away tonight is:
"What if the pilgrims had discovered the west coast first." "What if they came from China or Japan instead of Europe."
That's really 2 thoughts but they go together so well.
If the west coast was the first to be discovered what would be different? Would we still have all of the small states that are on the east coast? Would the west coast look more like the east coast and the east coast more like the west? If the pioneers had started on the west coast would they have had the "Oregon Trail"? Would they have dared to cross the Great Rocky Mountians seeing only the land that was west of them? Would there have been a Louis and Clark, and would they ever try to explore the east? Would the "Great American Desert" aka the "Great Plains" have been settled in the way that they were and the soil turned under at a rate so fast that the land revolted against the people? Would the Indians have been treated differently? Would they still rule the plains?
If the first people to settle North America, aside from the Indians, were from China or Japan would we still all speak English? Would Europe be suffering from over population like China, Japan, and India? Would the U.S. have fought in the World Wars, would they have happened? Would we have been on the same side? Would we have won if we were on a different side in the World Wars. Would there have been a Korean or Vietnam War (Conflict), What about the one right now? Would there have been a tragedy on September 11 or would if have just been another day. What would the major religion be? Would be have a democractic system, or would we have used a different system? Would the money and pledge mention a god, "In God We Trust", "one nation under God". Would there have been a Civil War? Would there have ever been slavery in the U.S.? Would we have the same 'government' holidays?
Well that's about all that I have for tonight. I will write again soon I'm sure.

First Post
So this is the first post to my new blog, and I'm sure many of you are wondering what this blog is about or why I started it, and well, here's your answer:
1. I stay up way to late doing nothing productive.
2. When I try to sleep I have random thoughts running through my head and cannot sleep because of them.
3. Writing them down will often help me to fall asleep.
4. Sometimes they are very interesting, or even amusing.
5. It wouldn't be good to waste some of these thoughts.
So this blog is about anything and everything that crosses my mind, especially the things that I think about at night before I fall asleep. Each post will probably be different. It may be a song, poem, story, 'what if', 'guess what', random facts, or thoughts, or well anything.
I hope you enjoy reading and check back soon for the next post.
